At PolyBoatGlobal, we love weddings on board electric boats!
Be it on the Upper Thames at Streatley, on the Rideau Canal in Ottawa, Canada, on the sea at Marshallberg, North Carolina, in Venice California, on Lake Washington (a Duffy), on the canals of Amsterdam, and at Göteborg, Sweden where Hamnfärjan II , built in 1913 can be rented for weddings.

Earlier this year, Dolphin Recreation of Undaipur, India, already known as builders of the most colourful electric boats in the world, created a 24ft pontoon catamaran powered by two Chinese Haswing electric outboards . It was for special events. One such event occurred in Beawar, Rajasthan, at the Ramgarth Resort, a 100 private villa resort for weddings. It was to prove the first ever wedding on an electric boat in the Indian Continent. The true essence of Indian Weddings stem from the customary rituals that take place throughout the wedding day. The Varmala Ceremony, also referred to as Jaimala, is the commencement of the Hindu wedding, serving as the first time the Bride and Groom meet before starting the wedding ceremony. Mala is the Hindi word for garland, usually consisting of flowers bunched together on a string. The exchange represents the acceptance and union of their forthcoming nuptials. This time, Varmala took place on Dolphin Recreation’s floral laden pontoon with traditional music and fireworks lighting up the night . Polyboatglobal wishes every happiness to the doolha aur dulhan (bride and groom) and hopes that many other marriage ceremonies will take place on the electric Dolphin Pontoon. Also elsewhere around the world!
